CONCRETE REFLECTIONS: JIALI

The CONCRETE REFLECTIONS series presents works created in specific locations around the world.

The idea was to take a photograph with concrete.
Just like the traditional photography captures light reflected onto a light-sensitive film, I captured the shape reflected into concrete, the very material that shapes its urban landscape.

This CONCRETE REFLECTION was created in front of the Soulangh Cultural Park, Jiali District, Tainan City, Taiwan in May 2025

All sculptures from the series carry the exact date of their creation on the back, serving as a future
reference point, allowing one to trace them back to their original locations and sense the patterns that were the city at that moment in time.
